Description

Our key partner in the financial services sector is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Lead Business Analyst to support their growing Risk and Security portfolio. This pivotal role will drive the business analysis of key security and risk management initiatives while ensuring that robust solutions are implemented to meet both business and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end business analysis process for complex projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business goals in line with security, risk, compliance and business requirements.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements and ensure they are clearly communicated to technical teams.
  • Analyze existing systems and processes to identify improvement opportunities, streamline operations, and enhance business performance.
  • Manage the prioritization of requirements, ensuring timely delivery of key initiatives.
  • Analyze security risks and vulnerabilities and help design solutions that address these concerns while balancing business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout project lifecycles.
  • Drive and support security and compliance initiatives, such as GDPR, PCI DSS, and other regulatory requirements, to minimize risk exposure.
  • Support the design and implementation of controls to address both operational and IT security risks.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Business Analysts, ensuring best practices are followed across projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Lead Business Analyst, advantageous to have experience in financial services industry.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects, including process improvement, system implementations, or digital transformations.
  • Must have proven experience in driving Cyber Security initiatives.
  • Experience working closely with cyber security teams and a good understanding of security requirements within financial services.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A relevant degree or professional certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
