We are on the lookout for a short-term engagement for a Data Op Model Lead on a contract basis. Working with one of our key clients, you will be creating and leading a comprehensive data operating model that supports the merger of two businesses and establishes best-in-class data governance, integration, analytics, and operational processes. Your leadership will guide the alignment of data functions, ensuring that data is leveraged as a strategic asset, driving informed decision-making, innovation, and business value across our client's organisation.

By joining Tranzformd, you will be working with ASX listed companies on transformation strategies, initiatives and programs of work. This might include but is not limited to the following:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the overall data operating model strategy for the merged organizations, aligning with business objectives, growth strategies, and future vision.
• Data Integration: Lead the integration of data platforms, tools, and systems from both organisations, ensuring seamless data flow and minimizing disruption during the merger process.
• Governance & Compliance: Define and implement robust data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and compliance measures to ensure consistency, integrity, and security of data across the organisation.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Partner with senior leadership, business units, IT, and data teams to ensure alignment of the data strategy with business goals and facilitate the effective use of data throughout the organization.
• Data Architecture & Infrastructure: Oversee the design of scalable data architecture and infrastructure to support future data needs, ensuring the model is adaptable, efficient, and resilient.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience (8-10+ years) in a senior data management or data strategy role, with significant exposure to leading data operating model initiatives, ideally in the context of mergers.
• Strong expertise in data governance, data quality management, data integration, and data architecture.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering impactful data-driven initiatives that drive business value.
• Deep understanding of modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and analytics tools.
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear, engaging, and persuasive manner.
• MUST HAVE experience in the design and implementation of data operating models and frameworks.
• Ideally having worked on a Merger involving a heavily data focussed role.
