The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Quality Lead to join a major banking transformation initiative, helping drive the resolution of complex customer and product data quality challenges across a large-scale enterprise environment.
This is a highly visible business-facing role that sits at the intersection of Data, Business Transformation and Banking Operations. You will partner with senior stakeholders across Consumer and Business Banking to identify, assess and resolve critical data quality issues that impact customers, products, servicing processes and regulatory obligations.
The role requires someone who can operate independently, influence senior decision-makers and navigate complex stakeholder environments while driving practical business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the identification, assessment and resolution of complex data quality issues across customer and product domains.
- Drive business decisions relating to data quality, migration and transformation initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders across Consumer Banking, Business Banking, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Technology.
- Facilitate workshops and working groups to establish business rules, remediation approaches and target-state outcomes.
- Assess the downstream impacts of data quality issues on customer experience, operational processes, servicing channels and regulatory obligations.
- Define and document data quality requirements, remediation strategies and governance controls.
- Support large-scale transformation and migration programs by ensuring business impacts are understood and managed effectively.
- Influence and challenge stakeholders to achieve alignment on complex data-related decisions.
- Provide leadership and guidance across data quality initiatives while operating as a trusted advisor to the business.
About You
You are a seasoned banking professional with a strong understanding of how customer and product data impacts business operations and customer outcomes.
You possess the ability to navigate ambiguity, influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions across large, complex organisations.
Essential Experience
- 12-15+ years' experience within Banking or Financial Services.
- Strong knowledge of Consumer Banking and/or Business Banking operations.
- Experience working across customer origination, customer servicing, product origination and product servicing processes.
- Proven experience leading data quality, data governance, data migration or business transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of customer and product data domains.
- Experience working with senior business stakeholders and executive leadership teams.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate independently and drive outcomes across multiple business units.

- Experience within large-scale banking transformation programs.
- Data migration and remediation experience.
- Exposure to regulatory, risk and compliance-driven initiatives.
- Experience assessing customer, operational and process impacts arising from data-related changes.
- Understanding of enterprise data governance and data management frameworks.
