About the role

We're looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join one of Australia's largest and most respected financial services organizations. In this permanent role, you'll be responsible for a mix of project delivery and ongoing support, working hands-on in a high-stakes environments to test, manage and implement network security infrastructure. Responsibilities:

• Optimizing network hardware and systems through upgrades and configurations
• Responsible for the management of Network and Security performance, focusing on continuous improvement
• Planning and reviewing Network changes
• Involved with high level project design
• Developing and implementing effective Disaster Recovery plans
• Risk Management

Skills and Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience with Firewalls - Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, Checkpoint
• Cisco Routing and Switching experience - BPP/OSPF, VXLAN, etc.
• Implementation of IDS/IPS policies
• Design and Implementation of F5 Load Balancers - LTM, GTM, APM, ASM
• Knowledge of Network Monitoring tools - SolarWinds, Infoblox, etc.
• Cloud Networking experience - AWS/Azure
• Nice to have - Automation/Scripting with Python
