We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst with a strong background in infrastructure, virtualization, on-premises environments, and/or technology assurance controls. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and IT infrastructure, ensuring applications running on infrastructure (such as Puppet, Terraform, and other configuration management tools), virtual machines (VMs), and on-prem environments meet security, compliance, and operational best practices.

• Work with stakeholders to define and document business and technical requirements for infrastructure solutions
• Evaluate current infrastructure setups, identify gaps, and recommend improvements
• Ensure infrastructure and applications comply with regulatory, security, and technology assurance frameworks.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to assess risks and implement necessary controls.
• Work with application teams to ensure infrastructure can support critical business applications like Puppet other automation/configuration management tools.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions to enhance reliability.
• Ensure best practices for deploying, managing, and monitoring applications that sit on infrastructure.
• Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and infrastructure teams to align technology solutions with business objectives.
• Translate complex infrastructure concepts into business-friendly language.
• Support infrastructure-related projects by creating detailed business cases, functional specifications, and process documentation. Track and report on project progress, risks, and dependencies.

• Experience: 7+ years as a Business Analyst with a focus on IT infrastructure and technology assurance within critical organisational transformations
• Leadership: some experience mentoring and leading BAs

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of on-prem infrastructure, virtual machines, networking, and enterprise IT environments.
• Tech Assurance Expertise: Knowledge of IT governance, risk, compliance, and assurance controls (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, ITIL, COBIT).
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess complex technical environments and provide clear recommendations.
• Tools & Technologies: Familiarity with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, Terraform), virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and automation tools.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation abilities.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, ITIL, TOGAF) are a plus.

Salary Range: $160,000 to $170,000 inclusive of super base on experience.
