About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a large-scale infrastructure and data centre migration program. You will work across multiple Discovery and Migration teams, ensuring a smooth transition of business-critical applications while maintaining operational SLAs.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with application owners to gather detailed functional and operational requirements.
- Map application dependencies and configurations across data centres.
- Assess application compatibility with the target environment and identify migration patterns.
- Work closely with architects, testers, and tech teams to define clear user stories and acceptance criteria in JIRA & Confluence.
- Guide testing teams in validating application performance and functionality post-migration.
- Support large-scale procurement activities (RFT, RFP) as needed.
About You
You have deep expertise in business analysis for large-scale infrastructure migration programs and a strong understanding of application architecture, deployment patterns, and virtualisation. You are highly analytical, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator.
Key skills & experience:
- 5+ years Technical BA experience within regulated environments (banking exp. is not required)
- Strong understanding of application architecture, networking, and security.
- Knowledge of virtualisation (VMware), DevOps, middleware, and API integration.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA & Confluence in an Agile environment.
- Exposure to on prem migrations or on-prem to cloud
- Ability to assess and document complex business and technical requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- IIBA CBAP certification (preferred).
