Head of Projects & Technical Delivery - Not For Profit & Charities
Location: Northern Sydney, with good WFH flexibility
Salary: $190,000 + Super
Fixed Term Contract Length: 18mths
Note: Must have 10yrs+ experience in enterprise service management implementation, preferably in the Government/Public sector.

We are currently seeking an experienced Head of Projects: Technical Delivery for our Not for Profit client who will be responsible for leading the rollout of an enterprise service management implementation.

This role will serve as the Project Manager for the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) project, taking direct responsibility for its successful planning, execution, and delivery.
The role will also provide effective leadership to the Project Managers within IT Service Operations team, ensuring that all projects are successfully delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

The role aims to drive high performance within the team through mentorship and coaching, while implementing standardised frameworks and governance practices that align with industry best practices

Preferable to have experience working in Health or Aged Care & Government programs.

• 10+ years project management experience in a enterprise service management implementation
• Extensive enterprise service management implementation experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management of Enterprise Service Management Implementation (60-70%)
• Lead the 12-18 month rollout of the system
• Align technical and operational needs with stakeholders
• Ensure project governance, risk management, and compliance
• Project Management & Governance (30-40%)
• Oversee and develop a team of project managers
• Implement and refine governance frameworks (EMPO)
• Embed best-practice project management processes

Key qualifications:

• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management and technical delivery, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience in leading cross-functional teams, especially in IT or technical project management environments.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Experience with ESM tools and platforms is a significant advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies, with hands-on experience in implementing these methodologies in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in driving governance, compliance, and best practices in project management.
