Project Manager - ServiceNow Implementation

6-Month Initial Day Rate Contract ($900 - $1100 per day)

Talenza has been engaged by a leading Australian organisation to source an experienced ServiceNow Implementation Project Manager to lead the delivery of an enterprise-wide ServiceNow system implementation as part of a wider transformation.

This is a critical role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow, ensuring seamless integration, adoption, and operational success. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, technology teams, and business stakeholders to drive project delivery, governance, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Project Management: Lead the full lifecycle of the ServiceNow system implementation, from project initiation to post-go-live support, ensuring smooth integration into business operations.

Delivery Leadership & Execution: Establish and manage delivery timelines, ensuring project milestones are met while maintaining alignment with business objectives. Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear accountability and collaboration across business and technology functions.

Governance & Risk Management: Implement and oversee governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, risk frameworks, and best practices. Identify risks and mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Financial Management & Budget Oversight: Manage project budgets ensuring financial forecasts are accurate, resources are effectively allocated, and expenditure aligns with business priorities.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Engage with senior stakeholders, external vendors, and implementation partners to drive project alignment, resolve challenges, and maximise platform value. Ensure strong vendor relationships to drive delivery excellence.

Change Management Leadership: Develop and execute change strategies, communication plans, and training programs to support business readiness and user adoption. Foster a culture of "one process, one way of working" across teams.

Process Optimisation & Compliance: Ensure that the implementation aligns with internal business processes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience leading large-scale ServiceNow implementations.
  • Strong project management expertise, with a successful track record delivering enterprise-wide technology implementations within professional services or complex corporate environments.
  • Extensive governance and financial management experience, including budget planning, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Experience working within a PMO or GTO.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience managing C-suite and senior executives.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic, and able to both manage up and work closely with teams to ensure successful execution.
