Description

Talenza is supporting a client in Health Care on their search for a Program Manager /Director on a Human Capital Management Program.

The client is going through a major lift-and-shift project to transition to a new, integrated Human Capital Management (HCM) platform as the current product reaches end-of-life. This initiative will integrate three business units and address key areas including Payroll, Time & Attendance, HR, and Medical functions.

The Program Manager will lead the build and delivery phase of this high-visibility project. You will be responsible for leading and managing the entire lifecycle of the program from planning through to execution, ensuring it meets the defined goals, scope, and timeline. Your role will require excellent strategic thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Program Manager will have overall responsibility for delivering the program on time and within budget, and ensuring that it aligns with the strategic objectives of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the successful delivery of the new HCM platform integration.
  • Collaborate with executive sponsors, including HR and People SMEs, to ensure project success.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, business leaders, and third-party vendors.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication regarding program status, progress, risks, and issues.
  • Oversee the scope covering Payroll, Time & Attendance, HR, and Medical functions.
  • Ensure project completion whilst managing tight deadlines and strict budgets.
  • Apply strong cost management expertise to maintain budget discipline and deliver within scope.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks and issues that may impact the program's success. Develop mitigation strategies and ensure that issues are addressed promptly to avoid delays or budget overruns.
  • Ensure proper change management practices are in place to support adoption and mitigate resistance. Maintain high standards of quality assurance to deliver a successful program.
  • Track and report on the program's progress, ensuring that milestones are met, and outcomes align with expectations. Provide regular updates to the executive team and board-level stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Must have proven experience as a Program Manager / Director, managing complex and large-scale programs, particularly HCM or related Payroll/HR system integrations/migrations. Experience within the Healthcare industry is highly desireable.
  • Strong cost management and financial oversight skills.
  • Expertise in waterfall/hybrid project delivery, especially in governance-driven environments.
  • Ability to incorporate testing, change management, and other project controls.
  • High-level communication skills for regular board reporting and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to handle complex issues and work effectively with executive leadership.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-impact project environment.

Thank you for your application and interest. We are looking for Brisbane based candidates as the role requires at least 3 days in office a week. We can only proceed with those who have full working rights in Australia. Please reach out to Tran Trinh on LinkedIn for a quicker response.
