Are you a seasoned Senior Data Engineer looking for a new opportunity? Come join a major ERP digital transformation project for our healthcare client, playing an important role in integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other core business systems. You will be crucial in supporting the client's digital transformation journey by managing data pipelines, ensuring seamless data migration and optimizing performance of their Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem. This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Sydney, offering $180,000 + superannuation.

About the role:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data solutions that ensure seamless system integration and data migration during this large-scale digital transformation. You will work with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility, supporting key business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of data pipelines for the ERP transformation.
• Develop scalable data models and ETL processes to support integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and optimising complex data workflows.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data requirements and drive best practices.
• Provide technical expertise in database management, cloud data solutions, and analytics.
• Support change management efforts by ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in SQL, Azure Data Services, ETL, and data warehousing.
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to design and optimize data pipelines for large-scale system migrations.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data architectures (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Expertise in Microsoft Dynamic 365 data structures and migration strategies.
• Experience with data governance and compliance standards in healthcare of regulated environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced transformation project.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
