Opportunity for an experienced Senior Solutions Architect working for a leading Australian financial institution, you will join one of the largest payments programs in happening right now - Enhancing operations, IT controls, and governance for a system that processes approximately $230 billion daily.

In this role, you will collaborate with both business and IT teams to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of critical infrastructure and drive improvements in technology standards and controls.

Key deliverables:

• Design solution architectures, high-level designs, and impact assessments while ensuring key deliverables.
• Collaborate with analysts to define business requirements and work closely with subject matter experts to develop high-level designs.
• Help scope initiatives in line with architectural principles.
• Provide technical expertise in complex architectures-including cloud, on-premise, and hybrid solutions.
• Support improvements in controls based on COBIT/ISO 27001 frameworks.

Your skills and experience:

• 10+ years of technology experience, with a background in engineering
• 5+ years of experience within a Solution Architecture role within a financial services/payments environment
• Deep understanding of payment systems such as SWIFT, NPP and FSS
• Strong knowledge of COBIT 2019 and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Proficiency in development principles, tools, and frameworks.
• Skilled in automation tools like Puppet, Terraform, vRA, Chocolatey, and Packer.
• Expertise in CI/CD toolsets including Azure DevOps, GitLab, and Artifactory.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure components
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate, facilitate, and negotiate effectively.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts.
• Awareness of emerging technologies and their practical applications.
