Change and Communications Manager - New Op Model

Talenza has been engaged by a leading professional services organisation to recruit a Change Manager. This pivotal role will support a division as it transitions to a new operating model and adopts new ways of working. Positioned within a well-established Group Transformation Office, this role is key to driving successful change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Change Management: Lead the full lifecycle of change management for enterprise technology initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption and integration across the organisation.
  • Managing Rollout of a New Operating Model and Ways of Working: Oversee the structured deployment of new operating models and business processes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and effective adoption by teams.
  • Strategic and Tactical Internal Communications: Develop and deliver clear, engaging, and tailored communication strategies to support change initiatives and enhance stakeholder understanding.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align on a unified approach, fostering a culture of "one process, one way of working." Provide guidance and influence to achieve organisational objectives.
  • Change Strategy Execution: Design and implement change management strategies and plans, including training, impact assessments, and communication campaigns to support system adoption.
  • Complex Environment Navigation: Operate effectively within a mature change management function, ideally a Change Centre of Excellence, adapting strategies to suit organisational complexity.
  • ADKAR Methodology: Leverage a strong understanding of the ADKAR (Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, Reinforcement) methodology to design and implement structured change management strategies that drive sustainable results.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in change management and communications, ideally within enterprise technology transformation.
  • Proven success in delivering change within a complex environment, demonstrating the ability to navigate organisational dynamics and influence at all levels.
  • Solid knowledge and practical application of the ADKAR methodology in delivering change initiatives.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and drive alignment.
  • Experience in a consulting environment is a bonus, bringing valuable insights and best practices to the role.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a focus on delivering results and driving value.

Key Selection Criteria to be addressed:

  • Confident Stakeholder Engagement: Able to comfortably engage with and influence senior stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional Writing and Communication Skills: Strong ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely, with a sharp, succinct, and impactful writing style.
  • Strategic and Tactical Communications: Proven experience in developing and executing both strategic and tactical internal communications.
  • Expertise in Organisational Change: Strong background in organisational design (OD), operating model transformation, and large-scale change initiatives.
  • Self-Starter and Individual Contributor: Ability to work independently, taking initiative within a Group Transformation Office (GTO) or PMO environment.
