Our client, a leading financial services organization based in Brisbane, is seeking an experienced Information Architect to join their dynamic team. This is a key role where you will contribute to shaping the organization's long-term information architecture vision, ensuring it aligns with strategic goals while maintaining robust data governance, compliance, and risk management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and enforce data governance policies and standards across the organization.

• Lead the development and implementation of data quality initiatives to improve data accuracy and consistency.

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

• Provide internal consulting on aspects of information architecture and technology roadmap.

• Define and implement architecture governance and principles.

• Develop strategic and operational plans to ensure the architecture meets business requirements.

• Create roadmaps, frameworks, and end-state models to inform and guide significant technology decisions.

• Support the organization's commitment to adhering to regulatory frameworks, including APRA's prudential standards.

• Assist with the identification and assessment of operational, financial, and reputational risks.

• Assist with APRA audits and examinations.

Essential Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Enterprise or Information/Solutions architecture.

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, and business/IT principles and processes.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus and articulate strategies and roadmaps.

• Proven experience in business models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and risk management.

• Strong data experience - design, develop, data governance, data modeling, metadata management, data quality, data integration, data security, data analytics

• Proven ability in designing solutions that integrate multiple lines of business applications.

• Knowledge of the insurance or financial services industries.

• Experience in data migraition to Cloud is desirable.
