Opportunity for an experienced Java Application Support Engineer working for one of Australia's leading financial institutions, who are paving the way in technology within their digital bank.

Joining a new team, your focus will be on supporting a suite of complex cloud hosted applications which support the banks customers with their daily banking activities.

Key deliverables:

• Improve incident management processes and tools.
• Liaise between Support, 24/7 Ops, and SPA teams.
• Prioritize root cause issues with engineering.
• Assist in test and environment issue resolution.
• Participate in on-call rotations.

Dresired skills and experience...

• Have 10+ years of application support experience, predominantly in Java
• Be an expert in application debugging
• Hands on experience with cloud hosted applications
• Have worked on large enterprise systems on complex applications
• Be happy participating in on call rotations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
• Customer first mindset
• Financial services experienced - Preferred, not essential
