Test Environment Manager
Talenza is excited to partner exclusively with a global financial services organisation to recruit for a Test Environment Manager.
There is a growing need within this team due to various initiatives surrounding large digital programs & uplifts, cloud implementations & modernisation/automation.
Opportunity:
- Long term contract: Average contract tenure is 2+ years, option to convert to permanent or extend.
- Initial contract: 6 Months, with a view to extend.

- Working Arrangement: Hybrid - 2 days in the office
Responsibilities:
Maintain a central repository of environments, including version and connectivity details, along with the technical infrastructure and third-party dependencies.
Provide architectural oversight of environments, managing resources, demands, and supply across the environment landscape.
Define and agree on deployment schedules with project, application, release management, and testing teams.
Communicate environment availability to project teams and forecast future environment requirements.
Coordinate with multiple teams to support environment setup, resolve environment-related defects, and manage conflicts related to limited resources.
Experience required:
Proven experience in environment management, preferably within the financial services sector, with a focus on cloud migration and data centre exit.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to summarise and communicate issues between technical and business stakeholders.
Familiarity with continuous integration, delivery pipelines, and service vitalisation concepts.
Demonstrated experience managing services in complex, fast-paced, and heterogeneous environments, ensuring scheduling accuracy and adherence to SLAs.
Excellent organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage competing tasks and maintain up-to-date environment calendars.
