Our NSW Government client is hiring for a highly capable Moodle Application Developer to join the organisation.

Role Title: Moodle Application Developer
Start Date: As soon as possible
End Date: 27/02/2026
Daily Rate: $800 - $900 +Super
Location: Eveleigh (2015) on-site and WFH hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customise Moodle functionality, including plugins, themes, and APIs.
• Implement automation for enrolment, credentialing, and reporting processes.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Moodle and other systems.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of Moodle-related development activities.
• Ensure Moodle application security, including secure coding practices and compliance with organisational policies.
• Work collaboratively with administrators, IT teams, and business stakeholders to align development with business needs.

About You:

• Experience developing and customising Moodle applications using PHP, MySQL and JavaScript.
• Experience in integrating Moodle with other enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of Moodle architecture, APIs, and plugin development.
• AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, networking).
• Knowledge and experience of authentication and access management (SSO, MFA, IAM).
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimise Moodle performance.
