We are currently seeking a Lead PMO Consultant to join us on an initial 12 month Maxed/ Fixed term opportunity. This role is to start around June/ July. This role will be working with one of clients helping initiate PMO Frameworks around their 3-5 year IT Strategy. You will be responsible for standing up and leading the PMO Delivery and supporting business decision making through the delivery model.

  • Orchestrate enterprise-wide delivery with precision and empathy - Lead the PMO as an enabling function that connects strategy to execution, aligning teams, timelines, and outcomes across the business.
  • Create clarity in complexity - Bring structure to ambiguity through fit-for-purpose design, adaptive delivery frameworks, and tools that support decision-making without stifling agility.
  • Foster a collaborative culture of delivery - Work shoulder-to-shoulder with business and delivery teams, building trust, surfacing risks early, and enabling cross-functional coordination that keeps momentum high.
  • Human-centred, not process-obsessed - Combine emotional intelligence with consulting discipline to guide teams through delivery challenges, balancing rigour with flexibility to meet people where they are.
  • Stay laser-focused on outcomes and impact - Champion delivery that matters-ensuring initiatives don't just land on time and on budget, but drive measurable results that support the organisation's strategic goals.
  • Consultative Leadership: Guide the organisation through change by leveraging your consultancy background to design principles and frameworks that support business transformation while focusing on outcomes rather than governance.
  • Coaching and Development: Coach internal teams to enhance their delivery capability, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning through training and office-wide initiatives.
  • Driving Outcomes: Maintain a sharp focus on achieving business outcomes and impact, ensuring that transformation initiatives deliver measurable results aligned with the organisation's strategic goals.
  • Foster Collaboration and Trust: Work closely with business teams and delivery teams, building strong relationships to surface risks early, maintain momentum, and promote collaboration across the organisation.
  • Influence and Facilitate Change: Drive the right behaviours and mindset across the organisation to ensure sustainable transformation and success in the delivery of key initiatives.



Required Qualifications:


  • Ideally brings a consulting background with experience in asset-intensive or property development environments - Understands the pace, complexity, and capital planning considerations unique to these industries, and can adapt frameworks and governance to suit.
  • Experience implementing enterprise level organisation PMO framework enhancements or setting up PMO functions.
  • Consultancy Background: Experience in a consultancy role, focusing on designing frameworks and delivery models that are adaptable and outcomes-driven.
  • Coaching & Training: Strong coaching and facilitation skills, with the ability to uplift delivery capabilities across the organization and lead office-wide training initiatives.
  • Human-Centered Approach: Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to manage and guide teams through challenges, combining flexibility with a disciplined approach to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Results-Driven: A clear focus on driving measurable outcomes, ensuring projects are delivered with a tangible impact on the organisation's strategy.
  • Business Mindset: A deep understanding of business operations and a proactive approach to connecting strategy to execution.
  • Understanding and experience embedding business enterprise PMO, experience with Technology is not essential but can be also relevant.
