The Role:

We are seeking a Level 2 Security Analyst to play a key role in strengthening the organisation's cybersecurity posture. You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats while implementing best practices to mitigate risks.

About You:

• 3+ years experience in a security Analyst role.
• Solid threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management experience.
• Experience with cloud security (Azure is preference) and network security.
• Strong Mail Security experience.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as CPS234, ISO 27001, NIST, or Essential Eight.
• Good skills in security automation, scripting (Python, PowerShell), or SOAR solutions.
• Comfortable working across the Microsoft tech stack - Sentinel, Defender, Entra ID.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and respond to security incidents, mitigating threats in real time.
• Identify, assess, and remediate security gaps across networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
• Tune, manage, and optimise SIEM and security monitoring tools.
• Enhance security controls in Azure and enterprise endpoint protection.
• Support audits and ensure adherence to regulatory and industry security standards.
