About the role

A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a Program Procurement Manager to join an exciting transformation program within financial services. As part of the team, you will play an integral role in supporting the end-to-end procurement activities required for a large technology transformation program, ensuring compliance with all procurement practices. In addition, you will provide support for other programs and departments within the organisation with ad hoc procurement activities.

This role is a 18-month fixed term contract, offering an exciting chance to contribute to an impactful and long-term transformation.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage all procurement activities for various workstreams within the transformation program.
• Ensure all procurement processes comply with procurement practices,
• Collaborate with stakeholders to consolidate, plan, and execute procurement activities within a major program of work.
• Provide procurement support to other programs and departments as needed.

About you

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement, with a proven track record of managing complex procurement processes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build relationships across teams.
• Experience in consulting, planning, and executing procurement activities within a major program.
• In-depth knowledge of or experience with the Commonwealth Procurement Governance framework and the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
• A proactive, self-starting attitude with excellent organisational and time management skills.
