Talenza has been engaged by a leading organisation to source an experienced Program Manager - Customer Data Migration to drive a large-scale data migration initiative within a Redshift environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a critical data transformation program, ensuring the seamless migration of customer data while maintaining data integrity, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Migration Planning & Execution:

  • Define migration segments and establish a structured approach for migration sequencing.
  • Oversee and lead data cleansing and remediation activities to enhance data quality.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive data migration strategies, ensuring accurate mapping across multiple systems.
  • Supervise migration planning, data mapping, and transformation processes to uphold data governance, consistency, and security standards.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Manage multidisciplinary teams, track project progress, and proactively resolve migration challenges to achieve key milestones.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members throughout the migration process.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of migration plans, strategies, and key learnings.

Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks that may impact migration success, developing proactive solutions to address challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, data governance frameworks, and security protocols.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, effectively managing expectations and overcoming resistance to change.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager leading complex customer data migrations in utilities or telecommunications (beneficial but not essential).
  • Strong knowledge of data migration best practices (essential) within a Redshift environment (beneficial).
  • Expertise in data mapping, transformation, cleansing, and remediation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale migration projects, coordinating across multiple teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leadership.
