Our client is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their growing Data & Analytics team and help develop their new Azure Data Platform. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is on a mission to be smarter with data and deliver impactful data products. While the HQ is based in Brisbane, we're open to candidates from other locations and offer great flexible work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Data & Analytics team to build and deliver the Azure Data Platform and enhance self-service capabilities.

• Support the integration of new data sources and build scalable, resilient data pipelines.

• Partner with the business to develop data products that ensure the right data is accessible to the right people at the right time.

• Collaborate with delivery teams to provision data to support key use cases.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Commercial experience developing data ingestion solutions within the Azure ecosystem (Data Factory, Data Lake, Data Bricks, Synapse).

• Experience in data profiling and supporting business-led data cleansing efforts.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools, along with a strong understanding of software engineering principles.

• Self-motivated and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with business stakeholders.
