Our NSW Government client is hiring for a highly capable Salesforce Technical Lead to join the organisation. In this role you will be joining a highly agile team that is working across a wide range of projects centred around modernising and improving interactions across the state. You will be reporting into the Project Manager, working on maintaining and developing a leading CRM, as well helping to form strategies around wider program architecture.
This role is suited to a Salesforce Technical Specialist, who has 10 years of experience in Salesforce, as well as experience managing developers and testers. Additionally, candidates must have experience within the Salesforce Business Rules Engine, which you will be taking a lead to develop and customise according to team and organisational priorities.
Role Title: Salesforce Technical Lead
Contract Length: 6 month initial contract, with a high chance of extension.
Daily Pay: $850 - 1,000 + Super per day.
Location: Parramatta (2150). Office/WFH Hybrid, 3 days per week in office and 2 days from home.
Role Requirements:
- Helping lead a cross-collaborative team, with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts and QA Testers.
- Provides technical leadership to the engineers and analysts who design, build and support solutions on the CRM platform.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
- Ensure all technical documentation is maintained and updated as required.
- Continuously identify improvement opportunities to maximise platform stability and performance to minimise the management overhead of the platform.
- Demonstrated ability to take complex business problems and deliver solutions that deliver successful outcomes.
- Strong capability in gaining buy-in.
- Natural ability to share information and proactively engage with partners and dependent teams.
Key Challenges:
- Getting up to speed in a fast-paced team environment, with projects in-flight and at go-live stage.
- Staying on top of relevant industry best practice.
- Working with an array of stakeholders, internal and external to the department.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Salesforce Certifications.
- 10 years of experience in Salesforce.
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and business engagement.
- Strong knowledge and experience in modern engineering.
- Experience working on complex projects to a large scale, where end user needs are held in high consideration.
- Experience in an agile work environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience working on grants or financial management/improvement projects are seen as valuable.
