Are you a skilled Network Engineer with a passion for cloud? Our client, a leading financial services institution, is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to join their high-performing infrastructure team. This is a critical role that bridges the gap between traditional on-prem networking and modern cloud-based solutions.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud networking solutions across AWS environments

• Supporting and enhancing on-prem networking infrastructure, primarily built on Cisco technologies

• Collaborating with cloud platform, security, and application teams to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available network architecture

• Driving automation and IaC practices across the network layer

• Troubleshooting complex network issues across hybrid cloud and data centre environments

• Participating in network-related project work, including migrations and greenfield builds

What We're Looking For:

• Strong experience with AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, NACLs, Security Groups, etc.)

• Solid background in on-prem networking, especially with Cisco technologies (switches, routers, firewalls)

• Understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and how to securely and efficiently connect them

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and network automation tools

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries is highly regarded
