Job Title: Business Analysts - 12M contract
About the Role:
In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and our digital delivery teams, helping to define and deliver innovative digital banking solutions. You will work closely with Product Owners, UX designers, solution designers, developers, and QAs to ensure that requirements are clear, solutions are user-centric, and delivery aligns with business goals. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for banking initiatives.
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with stakeholders to identify and validate requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure requirements are well-understood and achievable.
- Support the Product Owner in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization of features.
- Act as the voice of the customer within the Agile team, ensuring user needs and business value are at the forefront of development.
- Participate in system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate delivered solutions.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve digital banking processes, systems, and customer experiences.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
- Strong understanding of digital banking products and services (e.g., mobile apps, online banking, payments, etc.).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agile certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, ICAgile, SAFe, etc.).
- Experience working with APIs, data analytics, or digital transformation projects.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in digital banking (e.g., PSD2, GDPR).
