Our NSW Government client is hiring for a highly capable Content Designer to join the organisation. Working within the Policy and Delivery Business Unit this role will be working on a core product that helps out across the wider state, that makes finding information more accessible and assists in residential management. The team is a cross-functional team working on further enhancements.
Role Title: Content Designer
Contract Length: 12/05/2025 to 08/05/2026
Daily Pay: $850 - $930 + Super per day.
Location: Parramatta (2150). Office/WFH Hybrid, 2 days per week in office and 3 days from home.
Role Requirements:
- Tone of voice: Supervise and implement consistency of tone across all content across the platform.
- UX copywriting: Write clear, concise and user-friendly digital content for the target audience across every touchpoint in their user journey.
- Content enhancements: Review and update existing content to improve the overall user experience.
- Content guidance: Provide guidance for the team around best-practice copywriting.
- Collaborative development: Work closely with designers, product managers, business analysts and developers to continually improve content.
- Wireframes: Work with UI designers to write compelling copy for product wireframes.
- New features ideation: Work with Service and UX designers to design content across new features on the platform.
- User persona development: Work with Service and UX designers to create tailored content for different user personas.
Knowledge and Experience:
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional, digital development team, in an Agile setting.
- Exceptional UX content writing skills for a digital product whilst working within brand, and tone of voice guidelines.
- Experience working in a government or regulated environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability, responding quickly when situations and priorities change.
- The ability to work under pressure, ensuring goals are achieved within deadlines.
- Commitment to dealing with sensitive material with confidentiality, showing sound judgement and maturity
Candidates must be based in the Greater Sydney Area and must possess existing full working rights - Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia.
