Description

Our NSW Government client is hiring for 3 highly capable Senior Project Officers to join the organisation. The Senior Project Officers will oversee the day-to-day operations of the team members extracting documents and manages workflow ensuring tasks are completed against assigned deliverables. The role requires attention to detail to conduct thorough reviews of documents, regulatory materials, redaction activities, summarising key findings and identifying contentious issues.


Role Title: Senior Project Officer

Contract Length: 6 Month Contract Duration, ASAP Start.

Daily Pay: $550 - $610 + Super per day.

Location: Parramatta (2150). Office/WFH Hybrid.

Role Requirements:

  • Contribute to the Division's strategic planning to ensure optimum delivery of regulatory functions and alignment of activities to Government's priorities.
  • Undertake research and formulate recommendations to support evidence based project planning and decision making.
  • Manage projects and provide guidance and allocate project deliverables and tasks to project team members to ensure accountability and dynamic progress across the lifecycle of each project.
  • Oversee all aspects of project planning, development and implementation including developing project plans, coordinating resources, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting project-related activities, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, to quality standards and within agreed scope in line with established agency project management methodology.
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are met.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • A valid Working with Children Check clearance for paid employment.
  • Experienced people manager.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to collaborate with others and confidently communicate key project achievements and risks.

Candidates must be based in the Greater Sydney Area and must possess existing full working rights - Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia.
