Our NSW Government client is hiring for multiple highly capable Project Officers to join the organisation. In this role, the Project Officers will provides administrative support to the project team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining documentation, and tracking project progress. The role will assist with downloading and reviewing relevant documents, regulatory materials, summarising key findings and identifying contentious issues. The role requires the ability to use SharePoint to sort documents into corresponding folders and excel to track documents. TRIM skills are also highly desirable.
Role Title: Project Officer
Contract Length: 6 Month Contract Duration, ASAP Start.
Daily Pay: $480 - $538 + Super per day.
Location: Parramatta (2150). Office/WFH Hybrid.
Role Requirements:
- Provide a range of administrative and project support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope, in line with agency project management methodology.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information and contribute to the achievement of project outcomes.
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate the exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans.
- Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
- Undertake research and analysis and interpret regulatory performance data and trends to support informed decision-making and planning.
Knowledge & Experience:
- The role requires the ability to use SharePoint to sort documents into corresponding folders and excel to track documents. TRIM skills are also highly desirable.
- A valid Working with Children Check clearance for paid employment.
- Highly organised, with the ability to collaborate with others, work effectively in a team environment and confidently communicate key project achievements and risks.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Government experience is seen as desirable.
