We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in cyber security project delivery to join a client in government, bringing your expertise to lead end-to-end business analysis activities across complex, multi-stakeholder cyber security projects. You will be joining a collaborative and supportive work culture, with flexible and hybrid working week.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of issues, identify suitable solutions to enhance existing services, develop new initiatives, and implement strategies that strengthen cyber security maturity and mitigate risks.

• Gather and document requirements and ensure smooth transitions from project phase to business operations.

• Capturing and analysing 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' business processes and infrastructure requirements.

• Partnering with stakeholders-including business leaders, process owners, and technical experts-to ensure project alignment with strategic and regulatory objectives.

• Translating complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, actionable business requirements and recommendations.

• Create templates, improve on current cyber security processes and contribute to governance and frameworks.

Essential Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience in senior business analysis roles with proven experience in various cyber security initiatives, such as Security Operations Centres, OT/IoT security, Cloud Security, or Privileged Access Management.

• Advanced capability in modelling tools and documentation standards (e.g. BPMN, Visio).

• Experience within the government sector is highly regarded.

• Strong understanding of cyber frameworks such as ACSC Essential Eight, ISM, NIST CSF, SOC-CMM, or MITRE ATT&CK.

• Expertise in business analysis methodologies and tools, ideally aligned to BABOK.

• Outstanding communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Advantage to have qualifications in Business Analysis, BPMN, or Cybersecurity.
