About the role

One of Australia's leading Telco companies are looking for an experienced Solution Designer with strong knowledge of EMS/NMS based network management solutions to join OSS Digital Network team responsible for the full lifecycle of Fixed Network EMS/NMS solutions across Optical, IP and Microwave network domains.

This is a 6-month contract role, open to candidates in both Sydney and has a hybrid working policy of 3 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Define and design a new EMS/NMS based network management solution across UP, Microwave and Optical Transport networks.
• Governance, assessment and audit of existing EMS/NMS solutions
• Liaising with and selecting vendors to crease and design EMS/NMS Solutions
• Requirements gathering and analysis
• Creating High Level Solution documentation

Skills and experience

• Strong background in telecommunications
• Previous experience in both OSS Assurance and EMS/NMS Solution Design
• Good knowledge of Fixed Network domains including IP, Microwave and Optical Transport
• Experience with both public and private cloud
• Strong knowledge and experience in OSS, network assurance and management including protocols SNMP, ICMP, Syslog, CDP, NetFlow, streaming telemetry, Netconf, Yang, RESTconf.
