Hybrid | Internal Program | Business-Facing Technical Role

We're supporting a major internal Cyber Security identity uplift program within one of Australia's top financial services groups. This is a multiyear initiative, backed by full internal funding and strong executive support, focused on modernising access governance and identity operations across the Bank and Insurance arms.

This Senior IAM Analyst role blends technical depth with consulting flair - perfect for someone who can confidently lead conversations, map access landscapes, and shape smarter identity solutions across complex enterprise environments.

🧩 The Role

You'll join a high-performing team delivering a SaaS Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) platform within a mature and process-driven environment.

Your mission:

• Lead discovery workshops with business and technical stakeholders
• Define and document access models, directory structure, user roles, and SoD constraints
• Build functional designs and roadmaps for application onboarding
• Support the containment and exit of legacy IAM tooling
• Shape intelligent automation and dashboard-driven insights
• Align with the program's four strategic goals: Risk reduction, Simpler user experience, Operational excellence, Automation & AI enablement

You'll work closely with the IAM delivery lead and interface with multiple technical streams, alleviating delivery pressure and enhancing visibility across business lines.

🛠 What You Bring

• Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement - you can run a room, lead discovery, and consult confidently
• A track record of delivering in complex enterprise environments
• Experience in access modelling, role-based access control (RBAC), and application onboarding
• Knowledge of IAM tools and processes - experience with SailPoint IdentityNow or IdentityIQ is highly regarded, but not mandatory
• Strong process documentation skills - you're comfortable producing flows, wireframes, and high-quality artefacts for change and stakeholder alignment
• A mindset for discovery, analysis, and business enablement - this is not a BAU ops role
