About the role

One of Australia's banking giants are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with a specialism in Infoblox DDI Services, DNS, DHCP and IPAM, for an upcoming migration project.

The role is for a 6-month, extendable contract, with 2 days per week expected working from the office in Sydney.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level support for incidents and service requests involving DNS/DHCP/IPAM.
• Work to migrate some of the banks core applications to help prevent and protect against DDOS attacks
• Internal and external stakeholder management
• Advanced troubleshooting of DDI related issues
• Ensure DDI systems compliance and implement DNS Security best practices

Skills and experience

• Expert knowledge in DNS, DHCP and IPAM systems
• Experience with Infoblox DNS/DHCP infrastructure
• Knowledge of AWS Route 53
• Good understanding of Networks and Firewalls
• Experience with SSL connections and certificates
• Automation/Scripting skills - nice to have
• Great communication and soft skills
