Description
We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a high-profile digital infrastructure transformation program within the energy sector. This role plays a key part in a multi-stream initiative focused on improving platform resilience, modernising data centres, and aligning with Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) Act compliance obligations.
You'll be embedded full-time with the client and work across requirements, process improvement, and change support - covering the entire analysis lifecycle from discovery to documentation and stakeholder facilitation.
Contract: June to December 2025. Chance of extending
Location: Remote (East Coast of Australia based only).
Sector: Energy & Critical Infrastructure
Pay: 150,000 to $170,000 + Super per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business requirements gathering and documentation across multiple workstreams
- Develop and maintain traceability matrices for infrastructure and testing streams
- Map current/future state business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops with technical and operational teams
- Support the development of business case inputs for migration and resilience initiatives
- Collaborate with change teams to assess impacts and ensure process alignment
- Ensure deliverables meet regulatory and internal policy expectations
You'll need:
- 8+ years as a Business Analyst in infrastructure, utilities, or critical service industries
- Demonstrated experience with large transformation or migration programs
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, BPMN, and process documentation tools
- Strong communication and workshop facilitation skills
- Familiarity with SecuSOCI, OT/IT environments, or regulated industry frameworks is a plus
Candidates must be based along the East Coast of Australia (Queensland, New South Wales or Victoria) and must possess existing full working rights - Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia.
