Description

Our NSW Government client is hiring for a highly capable Web Site Content Manager to join the organisation. This role involves designing, building and maintaining of websites, as well as providing web technology solutions and services.


Role Title: Web Site Content Manager

Contract Length: 12 months initial contract.

Daily Pay: $530 + Super per day (7 hour day).

Location: Syndey CBD, (2000). Two - Three days per week in office / the rest is WFH.

Role Requirements:

  • Provide technical expertise and advice on a range of content design matters and collaborate with subject matter experts, key stakeholders and communication teams to plan content architecture, page structure and content formats in line with the overall content strategy.
  • Lead the design and production for fit-for-purpose content, from original design content creation through to full finished product, ensuring that it meets identified user needs, supports a seamless end-to-end user journey and aligns with the content strategy.
  • Provide sound technical advice, guidance and recommendations to ensure that published content is high-quality, customer focused, accessible, optimised for search and conversion, and consistent with style guides, editorial guidelines and digital best practice.
  • Establish, build and maintain networks and relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate positive stakeholder engagement, consultation and information sharing and ensure the successful delivery of customer-focused government information.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of projects and initiatives as directed and apply best practice methodologies and principles to support the achievement of organisational objectives.
  • Leverage expertise to deliver innovative content solutions for digital products and services in an agile work environment.
  • Design, develop and implement effective evaluation and feedback mechanisms to ensure ongoing, continuous improvement in the delivery of creative content and design solutions.
  • Promote and maintain the use and application of standards and guidelines to ensure the integrity and consistency across all communications activity, digital products and services.


Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in designing and publishing content for digital products and services using an enterprise content management system
  • Strong understanding of web usability, SEO and information management standards
  • Strong understanding of WCAG 2.0
  • Strong understanding of Adobe Suite
  • Extensive experience in digital copyrighting in different styles to suit varying audiences

Candidates must be based in or around the Greater Sydney Area (NSW) and must possess existing full working rights - Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia.
