A Unique Opportunity to Shape Organisational Culture and Drive Transformation

We're looking for two highly strategic and experienced Internal Communications professionals to step into pivotal roles during a time of significant organisational transformation. With new executive leadership, a reset purpose and values, and a renewed focus on reputation and employee engagement, this is a career-defining opportunity to make a tangible impact at scale.

As Associate or Senior Director - Internal Communications, you will work closely with Executive Committee members and senior leaders to shape the employee narrative, support critical transformation initiatives, and influence culture across a large and diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, including ExCo members, on internal communication priorities and opportunities.
  • Design and deliver communications aligned to business strategy, transformation goals, and regulatory expectations.
  • Craft sensitive, high-impact messaging that anticipates internal and external implications.
  • Lead internal communications for enterprise-wide initiatives including compliance, operational change, and brand repositioning.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment with organisational purpose, values, and employee value proposition.
  • Engage employees at all levels through targeted, inclusive messaging across a complex corporate structure.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the uplift of internal comms capability.
  • Partner with external comms, marketing, legal, HR, and risk teams to develop integrated communication strategies.
  • Identify and proactively mitigate reputational risks in internal messaging.
  • Support major internal events, campaigns, and transformation rollouts at the executive level.

What You'll Bring:

  • 15+ years in internal communications, corporate affairs, or change communications in large, matrixed environments (e.g. telecommunications, financial services, enterprise tech).
  • Proven experience advising and influencing C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic acumen with the ability to challenge, counsel, and deliver pragmatic communication solutions.
  • Background in supporting transformation, regulatory reform, or reputation recovery.
  • Comfortable operating across strategic planning and hands-on delivery.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content to diverse audiences and withstand external scrutiny.
  • Skilled in navigating organisational dynamics and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Agile, delivery-focused, and effective under pressure and ambiguity.

Why Join?

  • Help shape the internal narrative during a high-profile corporate transformation.
  • Work directly with executive leaders on critical employee engagement programs.
  • Be part of a renewed and modernised communications function.
  • Join a well-known national brand in one of the most meaningful chapters of its evolution.
