Description

Our Financial Service Consulting client are hiring for a highly capable Reporting Analyst to join their organisation. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in SQL and expertise in either Qlik Sense or Power BI experience to develop, maintain and update reporting dashboards and data. Additionally, experience within the insurance sector is highly valued.


This is a 3 month contracting role that has an opportunity to extend further.


Role Title: Reporting Analyst

Role Type: Contract

Daily Pay: $500 + Super per day.

Location: Sydney CBD (2000)/ WFH Hybrid.

Principal Purposes of the Position:

  • Develop, maintain and update reporting dashboards, data and tools for the wider division.
  • Conduct process improvement analysis of processes and procedures.
  • Complete periodical reporting requirements (i.e. Monthly, Quarterly etc.)
  • Identify, and provide reporting visibility of issues within the division to enable improved results.
  • Work on organisational wide and/or stakeholder driven reporting initiatives that impact the divisions teams and customer experience.

Role Requirements:

  • Provide BAU reporting support.
  • Develop automated reporting dashboards and underlying data that enable effective management of the Division.
  • Identify, quantify and communicate the benefits of new improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and fix Data Quality Issues that impact on the accuracy of reporting.


Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications are Required
  • Experience in dashboard development, process automation and the insurance space are required.
  • Programming experience in SQL, SAS, R, Python, C#, Javascript, VB or other languages.
  • Experience with BI Reporting tools such as QlikSense and COGNOS.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office.
  • An ability to think outside the box.
  • Personable, with great written/oral communication skills.
  • Problem solving skills and ability to think outside the box.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence constructively.
