About the Role

Talenza is partnering with a growing Digital Consultancy seeking an experienced Head of Sales - Transformation Consulting to drive the growth of their consulting practice. This high-impact leadership role is ideal for someone with experience in digital strategy, transformation, and innovation.

You will be responsible for building a strong pipeline, leading proposals, and securing new business while providing executive governance across consulting engagements. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and deal closer who can shape the future of digital business, engaging with C-suite stakeholders and leading the growth of digital services across various markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Growth: Build and manage a strong pipeline of digital consulting engagements across strategy, transformation, innovation, data & AI, and emerging technologies. Lead proposals, RFPs, and pitches, crafting tailored value propositions for C-suite executives.
  • Executive Governance & Oversight: Provide executive governance across digital consulting engagements, ensuring alignment, performance tracking, and C-suite relationship management. Facilitate steering committees and status reviews, maintaining client visibility and accountability.
  • Client & Relationship Leadership: Strengthen client relationships to drive new business opportunities, retention, and satisfaction. Serve as a thought leader on digital trends and shape the strategic direction of the practice by defining new service lines and mentoring team members.
  • Market Insight & Competitive Positioning: Stay informed on market trends and client needs, using insights to differentiate solutions and refine sales strategies. Develop compelling proposals that align with client goals and buying criteria.
  • Operational Leadership: Run and scale a practice/team with strong operational hygiene, ensuring delivery quality and commercial success.
  • Industry Engagement (Advantageous): Contribute to the firm's market presence by running executive governance forums, forging partnerships, crafting thought leadership materials, and speaking at industry events.

  • Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated ability to close deals and exceeding targets.
  • Professional Services Expertise: Strong experience selling professional services and transformation engagments.
  • Digital Transformation Consulting Sales Expertise: Track record in digital consulting sales, driving business growth through proposals, closing deals, and building strong client relationships.
  • Consulting Toolkit Knowledge: Extensive experience across the full consulting toolkit, ideally gained within leading consultancies, with a focus on digital transformation, strategy, and innovation.
  • Executive Presence: Strong ability to engage and influence C-suite executives and boards, with a refined communication style and the ability to offer strategic advice on digital business challenges.
  • Mentorship: Experience mentoring and coaching consultants in a growing consultancy, fostering team development and success.
