Role:
As a Senior Shopify Consultant, you will:

• Own the functional scope of Shopify projects from discovery through deployment
• Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements and offer platform best practices
• Create and maintain Functional Specification Documents (FSDs)
• Produce lightweight technical documentation for Shopify developers (apps, theme logic, integrations, admin setup)
• Recommend appropriate Shopify store architecture (Markets vs. Expansion Stores)
• Advise on platform capabilities including Checkout UI Extensions, Functions, and Storefront/Admin APIs
• Consult on integration architecture for ERPs, CRMs, fulfillment, and marketing tools
• Assist with system admin tasks like development store setup and user access
• Deliver structured Shopify training to clients and internal teams
• Act as the internal Shopify expert and stay ahead of platform changes
• Lead UAT cycles, triage issues, and validate fixes
• Collaborate with PMs to manage scope, timelines, and client communications
• Support internal documentation and mentor others on Shopify processes

You will have:

• 4+ years of experience in a Digital Producer, eCommerce BA/ Functional, or delivery role
• 2 + Proven experience in Shopify and/or Shopify Plus project delivery
• Strong client-facing skills with experience leading workshops and functional discovery
• Proficiency in creating clear and comprehensive documentation
• Understanding of Shopify apps, integrations, and API capabilities
• Familiarity with QA/UAT processes and tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, Matrixify, and Figma

Nice to have:

• Experience with Liquid templating and Shopify theme structure
• Knowledge of related platforms (e.g. BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud)
• Exposure to Shopify ecosystem tools like Klaviyo, ReCharge, Gorgias
• Certifications or training in Agile, Scrum, or Shopify Partner Academy
