Description

Talenza has been engaged to source an AML Senior Business Analyst to support key financial crime transformation initiatives at a leading Tier 2 bank. This role is critical to ensuring AML regulatory compliance is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities.

Role Overview:
As a SBA, you will drive the successful delivery of AML change initiatives-from requirement gathering through to implementation. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Compliance, and Ops) to ensure AML controls, system enhancements, and regulatory commitments are executed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery of AML change initiatives, ensuring end-to-end execution

  • Translate regulatory requirements into clear, actionable business requirements

  • Own and manage backlogs, user stories, and delivery timelines

  • Collaborate with delivery leads, SMEs, and technology teams to ensure alignment

  • Track progress, manage risks/issues, and support go-live activities

  • Ensure strong documentation and traceability from requirements to delivery

Essential Skills:

  • 6 + years business analysis experience
  • Strong background in AML/Financial Crime within banking

  • Prior experience in smaller delivery functions
  • Proven experience delivering regulatory change projects (Agile or hybrid)

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and delivery tracking skills

  • Familiarity with AML systems and control frameworks

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
