About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst to support a major separation program within the Investment Operations space. This role will play a crucial part in preparing the Back and Middle Office functions for the sale of the business, with a specific focus on capturing requirements and supporting operational readiness across key areas.
Working closely with the PM and project stakeholders, the Business Analyst will help ensure successful delivery of separation-related activities across Fund Accounting/Tax, Custody, Registry, and Investment Reporting/Analytics. The role will also contribute to the design and implementation of the operating model under the Transitional Services Agreement (TSA) to ensure continued service delivery post-transaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Back and Middle Office teams to identify and document business requirements and changes needed to support separation activities.
- Support the development and execution of the separation plan across Fund Accounting, Tax, Custody, Registry, and Investment Reporting/Analytics.
- Work with the PM to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and alignment with overall program goals.
- Assist in designing and documenting the operating model under the TSA, including processes, service levels, and transition plans.
- Facilitate workshops, gather data, map processes, and support testing and implementation of changes.
- Identify and manage business risks and dependencies associated with the separation.
About You:
- Essential: Previous experience as a Business Analyst on business separation, divestment, or M&A projects within Investment Operations.
- Strong understanding of operational processes in Fund Accounting, Tax, Custody, Registry, and Reporting/Analytics.
- Experience working with TSA operating models and transitional state planning.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to work in complex, fast-paced environments with multiple workstreams.
