Our NSW Government client are hiring for a highly capable Advisory Officer to join the organisation. As an Advisory Officer with the Benefit and Personal Insurance team you will be required to ensure customers receive their legitimate entitlement to pension incomes and concessions and that these are received at the correct rate. In a customer centric role, this position will help clients to identify those who may meet the criteria of a TPD claim and assist in the extraction of claims.

We are seeking someone who has a paralegal background or an insurance claims background, and can provide support in managing service delivery. Furthermore, the successful applicant will be trained on databases and systems within the organisation.

Role Title: Advisory Officer

Contract Role Till: 6 month contract from start date

Daily Pay: Up to $35 + Super per hour

Location: Parramatta (2150). Fully Office-Based Role.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist in managing a range of projects to deliver initiatives.
  • Manage and undertake particular day to day and detailed aspects of project implementation, including monitoring project plans, coordinating resources, and managing deliverables and tasks.
  • Assist with research and analysis to support the development of key projects across the organisation.
  • Assist in managing projects designed to review, monitor and improve the effectiveness of service delivery within the organisation.
  • Provide day to day advice and communication to relevant project stakeholders regarding project status and implementation issues.
  • Assist in preparing a range of project related documents as instructed, including status updates, reports, budgets and discussion papers.
  • Utilise and implement project management methodologies and processes in all projects.


Candidates must be based in the Greater Sydney Area and must possess existing full working rights in Australia.
