Our NSW Government client are hiring for a HR Payroll Analyst to join the organisation. In this role you will be working on a SAP Transformation Project.
Role Title: SAP HR Payroll Analyst
Contract Role Till: Until 06/07/2026
Daily Pay: $400+ Super per day.
Location: Parramatta (2150)/WFH Hybrid. Minimum of two days in office (usually Thursday and Friday).
Key accountabilities/competencies:
-Payroll Configuration & Maintenance
- Review SAP Payroll schemas, rules, and wage types.
- Ensure compliance with local tax, superannuation, and labour laws.
- Provide details on payroll calendars, pay periods, and off-cycle payments.
-Business Requirements Gathering
- Work with HR and Finance stakeholders to understand payroll needs.
- Review business requirements against SAP functional specifications.
- Review and document taxonomies.
-Data mapping and Validation
- Review source and target data field mapping and support the data team for clarifications
- Validate data extracted, transformed and loaded
- Work with business resources to review and validate the loaded data
-Support & Issue Resolution
- Manage risks and issues
- Investigate and resolve payroll-related issues and system errors during hypercare.
-Documentation & Training
- Support the creation/update of functional documentation and user guides.
-System Upgrades & Enhancements
- Participate in SAP upgrades, patches, and enhancement in the project landscape.
- Assess impact of changes on payroll processes and ensure smooth transitions.
