About the role
This is a newly created role in an existing and well established Threat Hunting function within an enterprise financial services business. The role itself is focused on improving their cadence for running Threat Hunts across their environment. You will work with various internal teams such as CTI, SecOps and engineering teams to execute Threat Hunts based on TTP's of threat actors.

Ideally you have prior experience in Threat Hunting and can help uplift their capability, if you don't have experience in Threat Hunting but have interest in moving towards this you should also apply.

Duties

• Take feeds and information from the CTI team and plan hunts
• Work closely with various internal teams SecOps, Engineering, CTI, Red/Purple Teams
• Prepare and perform proactive Threat Hunting activities across an enterprise environment
• Mentor and upskill more junior members of the team

Skills and experience

• To be successful in this role, you will need to have deep technical knowledge and experience as Security Analyst
• Ideally prior experience completing Threat Hunts
• Knowledge across TTP's of major threat actor groups
• Prior experience as a Senior SOC analyst, Incident Responder or similar
• Excellent Communication skills - written and verbal
• The ability to liaise with various internal teams
• Industry certifications are highly regarded.
