Process Improvement Consultant - People Services
Initial 4-Month Contract | $631.76/day + Super | Melbourne (Hybrid)

Talenza has partnered with a globally recognised organisation to find a seasoned Process Improvement Consultant to join their People Services function. This is a unique opportunity to work with global stakeholders and drive impactful change in employee service experience through business process excellence.

The Opportunity:
You will be a key player in optimising People processes across a global enterprise, combining your process improvement expertise with strong stakeholder engagement. Using tools such as Signavio and Lean Six Sigma, you'll help design and implement improved workflows, elevate the employee experience, and support change at scale.

Your Role:
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to continuously improve employee services and experiences.
  • Define, model, and document 'As Is' and 'To Be' processes using BPMN 2.0 standards in Signavio.
  • Support change and transformation teams with business design and operationalisation of changes.
  • Coach process champions on best-practice modelling and Lean Six Sigma techniques.
  • Partner with People Digital Leads, Data & Analytics, and frontline teams to prioritise service improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct analysis to identify and remove process inefficiencies and employee pain points.
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards to track and communicate progress of improvement initiatives.
  • Support the development and enablement of process automation strategies.
You Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in business process improvement and process modelling.
  • Expertise in Signavio (Process Manager, Intelligence, and Workflow Accelerator).
  • Extensive knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and practical application.
  • Strong analytical capabilities - able to run root cause, gap, and value analyses.
  • Familiarity with APQC frameworks and process architecture design.
  • Experience driving human-centred process design to improve customer/employee outcomes.
  • Prior exposure to improving People/HR service delivery in complex organisations.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and remote collaboration skills.
  • Background in transformation programmes including automation or self-service is highly desirable.
