Role: Test Analyst
Day Rate: $800 - $900 + Super
Contract Length: 6-months + high chance for extension
Location: Eveleigh/WFH Flex

Are you an experienced Test Analyst looking to make an impact in a dynamic Agile environment? We're seeking a detail oriented professional with strong testing expertise to join our large NSW Government client on an initial 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute test cases from user stories, requirements, and use cases.

• Conduct manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and performance testing.

• Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or Bugzilla.

• Collaborate closely with developers, senior testers, and stakeholders in Agile ceremonies.

• Contribute to test planning, sprint reviews, and daily stand-ups.

• Maintain test documentation and provide feedback on usability, performance, and quality.

• Explore and adopt tools for automation and API testing.

About You

• 5+ years' experience in software testing or related IT role.

• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.

• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and test case design techniques.

• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (DevOps, JIRA, Bugzilla).

• Ability to write basic SQL queries for validation and data testing.

• Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Postman) highly regarded.

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and passion for quality.
