Salary: $180k - $200k + super
Contract: 12-month Fixed Term
Talenza is partnering with one of Australia's fastest growing consultancies on a significant cyber uplift program. With a strong commitment to enhancing cyber resilience and protecting critical assets, this consultancy is delivering large-scale programs of work across the Essential 8, ISO 27001 certification, and network segmentation.
As the Cyber Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a series of cyber initiatives designed to strengthen the organisation's security posture. Working closely with technical teams, client stakeholders, and senior executives, you will ensure project milestones are achieved, risks are managed, and business outcomes are delivered effectively.
- Lead and manage end-to-end cyber security uplift projects with a focus on Essential 8, ISO 27001, and network segmentation
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and reporting
- Partner with clients, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to deliver project outcomes
- Ensure alignment with cyber security frameworks, compliance, and regulatory obligations
- Manage governance forums, steering committees, and executive stakeholder reporting
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Drive change management and communication across client organisations to embed new practices and controls
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering cyber security uplift initiatives.
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on delivery of projects involving:
- Essential 8 implementation
- ISO 27001 certification readiness
- Network segmentation programs
- Essential 8 implementation
- Strong project management skills across planning, delivery, governance, and risk
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate technical outcomes into business impact
- Excellent communication, influencing, and vendor management skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, CISM, CISSP) highly regarded
