Talenza have been enaged by a Brisbane based customer to hire a Security Engineer-Lead

The succesful candidate will have deep experience with security event monitoring platforms, cloud-based edge security tools, and strong troubleshooting skills across complex, distributed environments. You'll serve as a senior technical leader, helping shape detection strategy, incident response, and engineering security capabilities.

Requirements:

• Experience in security engineering, with a focus on detection, incident response, and tool administration.

• Strong hands-on experience with leading SIEM platforms such as Splunk (designing queries, dashboards, alerts, data pipelines).

• Deep understanding of cloud-delivered edge security solutions, including web application protection, DNS management, and access control technologies.

• Hands-on experience with cloud-based edge security and traffic management platforms, including troubleshooting issues related to web application firewalls, DNS, and performance routing.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve critical issues in edge security services and oversee a team responsible for maintaining and supporting those systems.
