Cyber Security Architect - Permanent Role - Resources Sector - Hybrid Working
About the company
Due to a period of rapid growth, an ASX-listed company in the energy and resources sector are looking to recruit an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join their team.
The company has begun investing heavily to establish a dedicated cybersecurity function - not just to strengthen their security posture, but to embed security as a strategic driver of innovation and resilience across the organisation
About the role
Reporting directly to the Enterprise Architecture Lead and holding a very close relationship to the Cyber Security Manager, the role is responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-wide cybersecurity architecture and controls across IT and OT environments.
Responsibilities:
- Work to develop the cybersecurity architecture framework and align it to the business' IT and OT strategies
- Embed security controls into IT and OT solutions from design to implementation
- Evaluating new technologies, threats and vulnerabilities to boost the security posture of the business
- Work closely with IT project teams, senior stakeholders and operational departments and provide them with security related advice
- Always ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirement
Key Skills:
- Deep knowledge of IT and OT security frameworks
- Relevant industry experience is very highly regarded - energy, mining, healthcare, logistics or similar
- Strong experience in Security risk assessment, compliance and policy development
- High level enterprise cyber security architecture experience
- Very strong communication skills - capable of translating complex security requirements to non-technical teams and stakeholders
- Relevant industry certifications - TOGAF, CISSP, CISA, CISM
