Talenza have been engaged by a company in the Energy Sector to hire a Test analyst.

As a test analyst you will support the rollout of a large-scale virtual workspace environment within a complex enterprise setting. The role involves end-to-end testing of user access, system performance, and configuration, with a strong focus on automation and security. You'll work closely with technical teams to ensure readiness for external vendor integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive test plans, develop and execute test cases for Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Validate configuration of host pools, session hosts, FSLogix profiles, and user access policies.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing on AVD deployments.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Automate test cases using PowerShell, Python, or other scripting tools.
• Monitor and report on test results, defects, and system performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and organizational security standards.
• Document test procedures, outcomes, and recommendations for improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in software testing or QA roles, ideally within cloud or virtual desktop environments.
• Strong understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop, including host pools, session hosts, FSLogix, and Azure Files.
• Familiarity with Azure services: Compute, Networking, Identity, Storage, and Monitoring.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting (PowerShell, Selenium, Xray).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and defect tracking tools (Jira).
• Understanding of ITIL processes and service management platforms like ServiceNow.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proactive, flexible, and adaptable

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in software testing
• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140) are highly desirable
