Talenza have been engaged by a leading company in the energy sector to find a Test Manager.

As a Test Manager, you will design the test strategy, coordinate test cycles, manage defects, and guide the team to ensure SAP S/4HANA functions like finance, payroll, and procurement are delivered accurately and on time. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, hands-on experience with SAP testing, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to align testing with business goals in a high-stakes environment

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own the end-to-end test strategy, plan, and schedule for SAP S/4HANA modules (e.g., Finance, Payroll, Procurement)
• Lead a cross-functional test team, assign tasks, and monitor performance metrics
• Design and review test artifacts, including test cases, data sets, scripts, and defect logs
• Coordinate functional, integration, regression, user acceptance, and product verification testing cycles
• Manage defect lifecycle, drive root-cause analysis, and facilitate timely resolution with development teams
• Collaborate with project managers, test analyst, SAP consultants, and vendors to ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements
• Report test progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders and steering committees

Skills & Experience

• 7+ years in software testing, including 3+ years on SAP S/4HANA projects

• Proven experience leading test teams in large-scale ERP implementations

• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture, Fiori, and core modules

• Skilled in test management tools (e.g. Jira, Xray) and automation frameworks

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
