Senior Data Engineer

Talenza's client, one of the largest bank in Queensland, is looking for a Data Engineering Technical Lead. You will be designing, building, and implementing cutting-edge data solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform

Location: flexible WFH environment (Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Sydney)

Employment Type: contract, 6 months + extension

Environment: Azure

Your role:

We're looking for a Databricks expert to lead a team of data engineers and deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions. You'll design and optimise pipelines, ensure data quality and governance, and collaborate with business and tech teams in an agile environment.

Ideal Background:

• 5+ years in data engineering, 2+ in a lead role.
• Strong skills in Databricks, Spark, Python, SQL, and cloud (Azure).
• End to end CI/CD pipelines experience
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration.
